– There is no rule of thumb for choosing implant size: The size of the implant should be carefully chosen. While women can make the choice, it is important that the surgeon provides them with the guidance to select the option that would suit their physiological considerations. – Implants are the solution to all aesthetic issues related to the breasts: Breast implants resolve issues related to size and volume. However, implants cannot correct breast sag, drooping or size or shape of the areola or nipples.

The study included 120 women with implants: one group of 57 women who breastfed for more than six months and the other comprising 62 women who did not breastfeed. When measurements were taken before and after pregnancy and/or breastfeeding, it was found that there were no significant changes in measurements or in sagging between both groups.

– Implants need to be replaced every 5-10 years: Breast implants need to be replaced on when there is a problem such as a rupture or leak.
